( 15 days - 14 nights ) Cairo - Baharia - Farafra - Dakhla - Kharga - Luxor
Day1
You will be met and assisted at Cairo International Airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo .
Day2
After breakfast, travel by 4x4 vehicle to Bahariya Oasis. Walk around the old village of the oasis and see the groves of palms and fruit trees. Local tour to the hill top ruin ‘the English House’, the Temple of Alexander and the Golden Valley of Mummies . Overnight in Bahariya
Day3
Trip to the beautiful White Desert passing through the Black Desert and the Valley of El Haize with its hot spring. Stop off to see the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain and the volcanic rocks and petrified wood in the Valley of Agabat . Arrive at the White Desert , where you can see amazing rock formations, watch the sunset, and camp under the stars in this paradise of tranquility. Bedoiun dinner in the desert. Camp overnight.
Day 4
Move on to Farafra Oasis and tour around to see the palm groves and hot springs, as well as the old village of traditional mud-brick houses, and local artist Badr's unique mudbrick museum. Then drive on to the lush Dakhla Oasis, surrounded by rose-colored cliffs. Overnight in Dakhla.
Day 5
Trip around Dakhla Oasis, the last place in Egypt where the water wheels, driven by buffaloes, are constructed. Visit the Roman temple Deir El Hagar in its serene surroundings and the Roman burial ground Mezzawaqqah. Travel on to Kharga Oasis, also famous for its hot springs. Visit Qasr el Labeka - a Roman fortress on the old caravan route. Overnight in Kharga.
Day 6
Travel by road to Luxor. Visit Luxor temple and Karnak Temple , the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to Luxor train station for departure to Cairo. Overnight on train.
Day 7
You will be met and assisted at Giza train station and transferred to your hotel. Free day and overnight in Cairo.
Day 8
Trip in an air-conditioned vehicle to the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos, then the Sphinx and Valley Temple. Visit the Egyptian Museum to see the vast collection of magnificent pharaonic artifacts. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 9
Travel to Sinai and visit Moses Springs, where Moses is said to have changed a bitter spring into sweet drinking water. Move on to Sarabit al Khadem and camp overnight at this ancient site of turquoise mines.
Day 10
Climb the Sarabit mountain and see the romantic ruin of the Temple of the Goddess Hathor. Travel to St. Catherine's and overnight at a nearby hotel.
Day 11
Early morning climb up Moses Mountain to see the sunrise, then visit the Monastery of St. Catherine. Travel to Nuweiba on the Aqaba coast of the Sinai Red Sea. Overnight in Nuweiba.
Day 12
Excursion to the beautiful colored canyon. Travel to Nuweiba where you can swim in the Red Sea. Overnight in Nuweiba..
Day 13
Return to Cairo and overnight.
Day 14
Trip to Alexandria, visiting Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria's ancient lighthouse. See the grand Montazah Palace, which combines Turkish and Florentine architectural styles, then move on to the new and much acclaimed Alexandria Library. Also visit the Roman cemetery cut out of the rock, the Catacombs. Return to Cairo and overnight.
Day 15
Breakfast, and transfer?to Cairo International Airport for departure.
